I’m a multilingual (English/French/Spanish/Arabic) writer, researcher, and communicator with intercultural experience in more than 30 countries.
I have a decade of experience in media and communications, including as an on-air reporter and producer covering politics, business, health and education. I have also worked as a communications advisor and project co-ordinator with non-profit organizations in London, England; Georgetown, Guyana and across Canada, where I developed strategic communications plans for non-profit organizations working in development on issues including education, youth empowerment, and gender equality.
I have worked as a staff reporter for Metro News, Global News, The Toronto Star, The Montreal Gazette and Nepean This Week. My work has also appeared on CIUT FM, and CKLN FM, nationally in Canada on CTV and CBC, in the United States on CBS and internationally on Al Jazeera English.
I hold a Master of Arts in International Studies and Diplomacy with Distinction from SOAS, University of London and a Bachelor of Journalism with Distinction from Ryerson University.
